I know there must be legitimate sites out there for entertainment jobs (TV, Radio, Writing, Movies, Agents, Etc) but they all seem to be secret and the ones you do find are just scams (i.e. Scriptwriting sites that are just some person wanting you to give them money to review your script).
How do you get in?
Only a few things made it through the sucky years, most classic alternative bands (Green Day, etc.), Sum41, Blink 182, The Killers, etc.
Most movies went down the toilet but a lot of good movies were made in the last ten years. (I’m not gonna list them all, but I’ll write down my favorite movies in the last 10 years)

Just to sum up: Music nowadays sucks.
I am looking for information about booking a celeb to speak at an event about the entertainment industry with a concentration on event planning and promotion, fashion, and spoken word.
I’m just looking for some basic market research to help me gauge the size of the media and entertainment event space. I’m curious to find out the total spend on everything associated with putting these types of events on from marketing to promotion to the physical space used. Something generic and all encompassing is fine.
